So...yeah...

Long time, no post...
I'll just give the obvious cop-out - "I've been busy"... weak, but true.
The real truth is...I'm just not that good at writing.
If you really want to keep up with my artsy stuff, check out http://www.lordego1.deviantart.com
I'm actually pretty good at keeping that stuff updated.
The big holiday season was pretty mellow (in the best possible way...).
I was sick for a minute, but I'm much better now. (too much playing in the snow...)
Right now I'm just enjoying a little calm before the next storm. I will be back on my hectic show schedule again, starting in February, with a retrospective show at GEMS in Seattle's Pioneer Square (I'm pretty sure it will be a first Thursday opening...), then, it just keeps going from there on into the new year!
I won't lie about any kind of New Year's resolution to keep up with this blog deal better, but I will make some kind of effort.
Happy New Year!

O.K.

So... I totally blew it for July and August.
There were, at least 3 art shows, 3 live painting events, and all the usual stuff. I guess I was busy, or something... anyway...I'll try to be better next month.

...and in July

Come check out my solo show at GARGOYLES STATUARY in Seattle's University District.

The show opens Friday July 18th and runs through August 11th.

There will be an opening reception on Friday the 18th in conjunction with the U. District Art Walk from 5 until 9pm.

What's goin' on...

Summer is on it's way (but, you wouldn't know it if you live in Seattle right now...), and I have a few updates:
Thursday, June 12th there will be a benefit art show and party with all proceeds going to the further awesome-ization of the Marginal Way Skatepark.
I will be donating some artsy stuff for the function, along with some other cool skateboarding art folks...
The event will take place @ MISSION in West Seattle. (2325 California Ave SW.)
The festivities kick off at 8pm (...sorry kids, 21 and older I.D. required).
More info at http://www.marginalwayskatepark.org/
See ya' there.

Carry 5 update...

Hey kids... If anyone out there actually uses this site to keep track of my goings on...I apologize for not being on top of the updates as well as I should.

1st-
I never even mentioned a word about the Emerald City Comic Con this year (In my defense, I haven't had an internet connection at my house for about a month...and I was very busy with a ton of projects, including stuff for the Comic-Con...).
All excuses aside... Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see me, and special thanks to those of you who bought my crap.
The geographic location of my booth was not ideal this year, but I still did pretty well, and had some fun. See you again next April...

2nd-
I have some other artsy functions coming up over the next couple of months, including a solo show at GARGOYLES in Seattle's University District in July. (More details to come...)
My good friend Angel (179) has a show up in Ballard right now at MARKET STREET SHOES 2215 MARKET STREET , including work from some of her buddies (like me!). Check it out!

Last, but not least-
I did a design for a Thrasher Skate Rock Marginal Way Skatepark T-shirt that turned out pretty cool (check out the picture posted above...)
...and finally here is a picture of my jug from the CARRY 5 ART SHOW...for more info, or to place your bid, go to http://www.carry5.org/

'Til next time... Take care!

Back from Portland...

The "Look what you've done!" show opening at "Together" gallery was pretty fun. Thanks to Parskid for the invitation to participate.
The trip was made even more fun by the hijinx that ensued at the after party at the Jupiter Hotel...and the grand opening party of an awesome vegan strip mall that includes "Food Fight" vegan grocery store, that was offering free samples of some seriously delicious vegan treats, "Sweet Pea" vegan bakery, where I had even more deliciousness, and Scapegoat tattoo...which is all Vegan also...(good people).
I'm glad to be home.
My next artsy events are in February in California, including a group show at "Alpha Cult" in Long Beach, curated by Solace Wonder....and a group show to benefit the Angel City Derby Girls at "Meltdown" gallery in LA.
More soon...
